The Essential Massager™️ – Scam or Legit? Truth Exposed

Is Essential Massager™ a trustworthy brand? Should you buy the Essential Massager™?

If you’re reading this review, chances are you might have watched the advertisement of Essential Massager™ on social media sites and wondering if it’s worth your try.

After all, it might sound too good to be true that it can decrease pressure on your back, stretches tight muscles, and decompresses the discs in a month.

That’s why I have tried my very best to browse through tons of customer reviews on lumbar decompression belts, lest you might waste your hard-earned money.

You can rest assured that what I tell you is genuine because I’m not affiliated to Essential Massager™.

What is Essential Massager™️?

As the name suggests, Essential Massager™️ Lumbar Decompression Belt braces the alignment of your back much like a back brace.

Whereas back braces wrap around your shoulders to help lift your chest, decompression belts work by compressing around your torso like a belt to help hold your spine in a neutral position.

Like a blood pressure cuff, they inflate when pumped with air, which is either a hand-operated pump or electric air pump.

This way, and you can adjust the belt to your desired level of support.

Essential Massager™ claims that it can provide spinal decompression therapy to heal pain naturally and relieve painful pressure naturally for several hours after use.

However, does it sound too good to be true? To help you make a more informed decision, I have reached out to some of their customers on Instagram and Facebook.

Most of them told me that it gives no extra support to your lower back and can only be pushed up by your hips.

Essential Massager™ Specifications

  • The size of the belt fits waist from 29 in (75 cm ) to 55 in ( 140 cm )
  • Designed to fit around male and female physiques
  • Recommended to use the belt daily for minimum of 30 minutes a day
  • Can be worn under shirts or clothing
  • Through traction, it might reduce the burden around the lower back

What to look for when buying when buying a lumbar decompression belt?

The first thing to have in mind is that not all back problems can be solved with a decompression lumbar belt.

Get a doctor’s opinion before you look into purchasing a decompression belt. Sometimes injuries and other ailments can be made worse instead of better when using certain medical devices.

The next thing is about sizing. Sizing matters if you want a decompression back belt to work. A one size fits all may not fit you or is poorly suited to handle the differences between male and female bodies.

Therefore, when purchasing a lumbar decompression belt, make sure it covers the area it is supposed to on your body.

For those who suffer from allergies to synthetic fibers, the decompression belt might not be suitable for you. Make sure the belt you want to buy meets your skin’s needs just as much as your back.

If it is made of breathable materials, it won’t cause too many skin irritations.

However, not all lumbar decompression belts are washable and you might need a different solution to clean the fabrics.

If you are someone who prefers a product that is easy to clean, you should always make sure to check the label beforehand. Some belts don’t even allow direct sun or heat exposure.

Last but not least, some back decompression belts can be quite restrictive. You want a belt that provides the support without completely hindering you from moving and bending naturally.

Is Essential Massager™ a scam?

I don’t think Essential Massager™ is a scam.

That said, there is not much information about the brand Essential Massager™. On the homepage of their website, I couldn’t even find out who is the founder or what kinds of materials is the Essential Massager™ made of.

Worse still, I don’t know why the product image is different from the pictures on customer reviews.

The products shown on customer reviews have a white cross logo whereas the product image is imprinted with the brand name Essential Massager.

Is it possible that you might end up receiving a knock off?

After all, Essential Massager™ appears to be a brand that emerged from nowhere. If that’s the case, you have to be aware of the refund policy.

On the page of the refund policy, it says that to be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Does it mean that you can’t give it a try to see if it fits you? How about if you want to return it after wearing it for a few times? Well, you might need some good luck.

Customer and User Reviews

As mentioned earlier, I have reached out to some of Essential Massager’s customers. Though some are satisfied with Essential Massager™, most of them aren’t happy with the experience.

One of the customers said it didn’t help in any way with her husband’s back pain. It didn’t produce enough pressure even though it was blown up as far as it would go.

Other customers said the more you pump the more the decompression belt slides up and away from the affected areas, so it didn’t bring any relief as expected.

When I asked whether they would recommend Essential Massager™, nearly all of them advised against using the belt at all.

Does it mean that Essential Massager™ can’t really live up to the hype and just preys on the discomfort of others who hope to get a slightest measure of relief?

Well, I won’t say so. You might give it a try if you still have confidence in the brand.

My Final Verdict

Though I won’t recommend Essential Massager™, it does have some useful features. It is lightweight and can be worn under all your clothes. It might also improve your posture on the back and relieve your back pain to some extent.

However, the band is considerably new without much information about it. Is it legit? Yes, it most likely is. I can’t eliminate the risk involved with it, but it seems safe.

You can find contact information like company address or direct contact number on their website. But no one picked up the phone when I tried to dial the number last Monday. Perhaps they are on holiday.

That said, the site provides a query form to answer any questions and claim to respond as soon as possible.

Essential Massager™ is much more expensive than other alternatives on eBay and Amazon. But you like the brand Massager™ and don’t care about the exorbitant price, then you can do it with the small amount of risk involved.
